About Us
For over 30 years, Metropolis Diner has been a beloved Medford NY diner, a cornerstone of the community, serving up classic American fare with a passion for great food and friendly service.
Founded by lifelong friends Mike and Andy, Metropolis Diner opened its doors in 1992. With deep roots in the restaurant business—Andy learning from his father, who immigrated from Greece—Mike and Andy brought their shared dream to life, creating a place where everyone feels at home.
From our famous soups, inspired by Andy’s father’s cherished recipes, to countless meals made with love, we’re proud to have served generations of customers. We look forward to making many more memories together.
